Leaving Gougane Barra, our journey continues toward Cork City. Along the way, we’ll pause at picturesque locations like Tanner Bridge and the historic Inchigeela Mass Rock—perfect for capturing stunning photographs. As we meander through charming country lanes, we'll arrive at the remarkable Cahirvailagh Ring Fort, a fascinating site dating back to 1000 AD that gives a glimpse into Ireland’s ancient past.

Just a quick 10-minute drive will lead us to the Kinneaigh Round Tower, a 6th-century architectural wonder and one of just two round towers in West Cork. If the weather is on our side, we’ll make a stop at the intriguing Horn Hill Stone Circle, a treasure for history enthusiasts and an awe-inspiring testament to Ireland’s prehistoric culture.

The tour then takes us to the historic site of Béal na Bláth, where the brave leader Michael Collins met his untimely fate in 1922—a poignant reminder of Ireland's revolutionary past.

Our adventure culminates at the stunning St. Fin Barre's Cathedral in the heart of Cork City. Here, you have the evening free to unwind, taking in panoramic views of the city as the sun sets, and savoring the array of excellent dining options that Cork has to offer.
