Our first stop is the charming town of Kinvara, where we’ll take a moment to explore the majestic Dunguaire Castle, a 16th-century fortress perched on the shores of Galway Bay. Breathe in the fresh ocean air and take in the spectacular sea views that surround you.

Please note: As of January 2026, Dunguaire Castle is currently closed and we do not know when it will reopen to the public. We can exchange this stop for Bunratty Castle instead, or to somewhere that your driver recommends, or to allow more time at Craggaunowen.

As we continue our adventure, the next chapter is entirely up to you! Choose to follow the scenic coastal roads along the edge of Galway Bay, or opt for a visit to the ancient Poulnabrone Dolmen, where you can marvel at Ireland’s prehistoric landscape. Whichever path you take, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the rugged coastline and the enchanting Irish countryside, all leading to the iconic Cliffs of Moher.

Once at the Cliffs of Moher, immerse yourself in the beauty of this natural wonder. As you walk along the dramatic cliffs, soak in the invigorating Atlantic air and keep an eye out for local wildlife, including gannets and puffins. Don't miss a visit to O’Brien’s Tower, a historic lookout built for Victorian tourists, providing stunning views of the Aran Islands and the vast ocean beyond.

Our final destination brings us to Craggaunowen, where history comes alive at the 16th-century Craggaunowen Castle. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to engage with an interactive, prehistoric experience that reveals what life was like in Ireland during the year 1550. Explore ancient dwellings and learn about the remarkable heritage of the region.
